Most people said if it was a good advertisement promoting the newspaper and stories being published then they would be more likely to purchase the newspaper and there were a few people who said it wouldn't make an impact on their desicion on buying the newspaper. I feel that it is worth having a radio advertisement because the marjority of people listen to the radio and it is a good source in getting your product out there.
Most people i asked said they didn't like it when they have a tune from an advertisement stuck in their head. And others said they don't like it when advertisements are long and boring. So i will make sure my advertisement is short and to the point.

When i asked people how effective they thougth advertisements on the radio are 15 people said they found advertisements on the radio very effective, 3 people said that they can be boring and 2 people said they don't like radio advertisements and don't find them effective. Because the marjority of people i asked said they do find them effctive i think this is a good indercation that my radio advertisement would be effective in encouraging people to buy their local newspaper.
I felt it was important to know who actually listened to their radio, out of the 20 people i asked all of them said they listen to their radio. So i now know this will be the best source to advertise my product.
I asked if people read their local newspaper to get an understanding of how many people and what age group's read their local newspaper, and who i'ld be marketing to. Out of the 20 people i asked 18 of them did read their local newspaper and the two people who didn't were from the 15-25 age group. This helps me identify what people i should be marketing my posters towards.
I asked a wide range in age groups from the age of 15 to 66+ , I did this because I wanted to know what all the different age groups liked and what I should put in my local newspaper radio advertisement to appeal to as many people as possible. Even though local newspapers are read mostly by the older generation i would like my newspaper to appeal to as many people as possible so i'll have a wider market. I feel my local newspaper advertisement poster will be very important to the sale of my newspaper. Because every age group listens to the radio either in their car, on their TV or through a house hold radio, i feel this is a good source to advertise my product.
