Analysis of Local Newspaper Poster Advertisement:

This newspaper poster is advertising a story for ‘The Press.’ There have only been three colours used black, red and white and I feel these colours work very well together and capture the reader’s attention. The black block colour is used for the newspapers story, this is clearly the main focus of the poster and it is very affective. The white block colour against the red block border is also very affective it isn’t the first thing you look at, however it does draw you into the poster and brightens up the poster. The red colour borders suggest this newspaper is exciting and interesting.
I really like how this poster has been done and would like to do something similar to this for my local newspaper poster.
